Plain-language help. The rules themselves are in the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy and Terms.

1. Report someone

  1. Tap the report button on a post or profile.
  2. Choose the reason (harassment, spam, fraud, intimate image removal, and others).
  3. Add context if you want to.
  4. Submit. The reported user does not see the report.

You can also email [email protected]. We acknowledge a report immediately, respond with a person within 24 hours, and investigate fully within 7 days. Retaliation against a reporter brings a permanent ban. Copyright and other legal requests are not filed through the report button: see the DMCA Notice page. Intimate image removal is covered in the Community Guidelines.

Something urgent or dangerous?

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (911 in the US). Then report it to us.

Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

2. Guardian and family resources

Users under 13 may not have an account. Accounts for ages 13 to 17 are read-only by default. Posting and the private P3 Audit need active guardian approval. A minor cannot use any monetization feature, and guardian approval cannot change that.

A guardian can view the minor's account status, approved activity and private P3 Audit results, revoke approval, ask us to delete the minor's data, and export it within 10 business days. Approval lasts one year and is renewed with reminders. Guardian email addresses are never shown to the minor and never used for marketing.

Full detail: Guardian and COPPA and Section 9 of the Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].

3. Crisis support

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US). Content that promotes or gives instructions for self-harm or suicide is removed, and the person who posted it is shown crisis resources (see the Community Guidelines).

4. Appeal a decision

You have 14 days from the date of the notice. Appeal in the app (Settings > Appeals, or the Appeal button in the notice) or by email to [email protected].

One appeal per action. You receive the result and the reason in writing. See the Appeals Policy for the full process.

Law enforcement officials: see the Law Enforcement Guidelines. For copyright, see the DMCA Policy. For everything else legal, see the Terms of Service or email [email protected].
