1. What This Notice Covers
P3RSON, Inc. ("P3RSON", "we", "us") uses artificial intelligence in a few features. This notice says which ones, which companies process your data, what is sent, what comes back, what we keep, and what we never do. It works with the Privacy Policy and the Biometric and Sensitive Data Notice.
2. Where We Use AI
| Feature | What the AI does |
|---|---|
| P3 Audit | Reviews your four Digitals photos (full body, waist up, portrait, side view) for presentation readiness: framing, natural presentation, visibility, and background suitability. Produces a presentation readiness score, per-photo checks, and private AI Scout Notes. |
| Digital Snap | Looks at one photo at a time and gives feedback on sharpness, lighting, angle, and composition. Limited to 25 analyses per member per day. |
| Safety moderation | Checks uploads for explicit content and scans submitted text for toxicity, so we can protect members. |
3. Providers
| Provider | What we send | What comes back | What we store |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anthropic (Claude vision models) | In the P3 Audit, your four Digitals images together, plus a fixed instruction. In Digital Snap, one photo plus a fixed instruction. No name, email, or account ID. | Presentation-readiness assessment, per-photo observations, private scout notes, reason codes | Score, per-photo checks, AI Scout Notes, and reason codes, stored with your audit record |
| Amazon Web Services Rekognition | Digitals, uploaded images, and video frames | Face count and face-detection confidence, brightness, sharpness (to flag photos needing a retake); explicit-content labels | Face count, confidence, brightness, sharpness, and moderation flags, stored with the audit record |
| Amazon Web Services Comprehend | Text submitted to P3RSON | Toxicity scores | Moderation flags |
All three providers process data in the United States. Providers may keep inputs briefly for their own safety and abuse monitoring under their commercial terms. Provider-side copies are handled under the providers' terms. Your original Digitals stay in P3RSON cloud storage until you delete them or delete your account.
4. Who Can Use These Features
- Verified adults who have accepted the current Privacy Policy and given the AI photo analysis consent in Section 8.
- Minors (13 to 17): only the private P3 Audit, and only with active guardian approval and a separate guardian consent for the AI provider disclosure. No other AI photo feature is available to anyone under 18. Under-13 users cannot have accounts.
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not identify you. The private P3 Audit does not use face comparison, face search, or face indexing.
- We do not create or store face templates, faceprints, or face geometry.
- We do not infer age, gender, race, skin tone, emotion, attractiveness, or health from your images. The instructions we give the AI forbid it.
- We do not suggest that you change your body.
- We do not use your images to train generative or recognition models, and we instruct our providers not to train on them, under the terms that apply to our API use.
- We do not use AI output to decide eligibility, hiring, credit, housing, or pricing. It is coaching. It is not a prediction about you as a person.
- We do not sell your images or AI results, or use them for advertising.
6. Human Review
You can ask a person at P3RSON to review any AI output about you, or to take another look at a flag. Email [email protected]. AI Scout Notes are always labeled as AI-generated in the app and in anything you export or share.
7. How Long We Keep AI Data
Digitals images, audit results, and the face-detection values kept with them are kept until you delete them or delete your account. They are destroyed no later than 3 years after your last interaction with your account, unless a longer period is required by law or a legal hold applies. Account deletion triggers deletion within 30 days, and backups within a further 30 days. The Data Retention document has the full schedule.
8. Consent and How to Withdraw
Before your first Digitals image leaves your device for AI analysis, the app asks for your separate consent. It is not part of accepting the Terms or the Privacy Policy. You can decline. If you decline, every non-AI feature keeps working.
To withdraw, go to Settings, then Privacy, then AI Photo Analysis, and turn it off. New images stop being sent right away. To delete earlier images and results, delete them in your Digitals or delete your account.
9. Users Outside the United States
The service is offered in the United States only. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so at your own risk and must follow your local laws.
